New learning environment for schoolchildren at Aalto University on the concept of School as a Service

The City of Espoo has announced the project to create a new learning environment for schoolchildren in Otaniemi in collaboration with Aalto University.

The objective is to start running this new school next fall semester 2016, consisting of flexible learning spaces located at Aalto University’s Otaniemi campus. The facilities are adaptable and allow users to design and customize them according to their needs, developing learning environments where users have a key role to play.

The new school will be planned from the concept of school as a service, and Puu2 building (Tekniikantie 3) will be used as the main premises for the new school.

Group X is already collaborating with the City of Espoo in the implementation of the project.
